Warranty
Oxide Eyewear warrants all our sunglasses against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the original date of purchase. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase and is not transferable. All our sunglasses comply with the Australian Standard for Sunglasses and Fashion Spectacles AS/NZS 1067.1-2016.
What Is Covered Under Warranty
Our warranty covers the following:
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship
- Unforced damages, cracks, or breaks that are not the result of misuse or accidental damage
- Structural integrity issues related to frames
- Assembly defects that affect the functionality or safety of the sunglasses
- Defects in lens coating (peeling, bubbling, or abnormal deterioration)
If a product is deemed defective under the terms of this warranty, we will repair or replace the item at no cost to you. In cases where the exact model is no longer available, we reserve the right to substitute a comparable model of equal or greater value.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Your warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, scratched, broken or missing lenses or lost screws. Any alterations to the eyewear will void your warranty.
The following are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:
- Accidental damages, cracks, or breaks
- Scratched lenses
- Scratched, damaged, or deformities to the frame caused by improper use
- Normal wear and tear
- Lost or missing parts including screws
- Fading or peeling of frames due to exposure to harsh chemicals, sunscreen, or improper care
- Heat damage or any other form of mistreatment
- Damage caused by natural disasters
- Theft or loss of sunglasses
- Damage resulting from improper storage
- Damage resulting from alterations or modifications to the product
How to make a Warranty Claim:
To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:

- Include "Warranty Claim" in the subject line
- Our customer service team is available Monday-Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM AEST
Provide Required Information:
- Original proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
- A detailed description of the defect or issue
- Clear photographs showing the defect
- Your current contact details
Return Process:
- Once your claim has been received, we will evaluate it and provide instructions for returning the product if necessary
- You may be required to return the product at your own cost for inspection
- If your warranty claim is approved, we will repair or replace the glasses at no cost to you
- Please allow up to 10 business days for your claim to be processed after we receive the returned product
The manufacturer reserves the right to repair or replace, in part or in full, eyewear returned for warranty or repair. Warranty claims and other repairs are at the complete discretion of the manufacturer.
All Oxide Eyewear Sunglasses comply to the Australian Standard for Sunglasses and fashion Spectacles AS/NZS 1067.1-2016
